The pick-up and delivery of computers or any equipment are completely free (exception may apply), only labor charges by the hour are applied unless a flat fee is discussed and established via an assessment and followed up via a contract, and only cash payments are accepted (exceptions may apply), for emergency cases an extra fee may be applied. We accept PayPal as well only for residential clients, for businesses refer to the subjective and/or individual contract presented to you. Sales taxes are to be collected on parts/accessories sold unless the equipment is offered to you for free and waived as a gift/courtesy. If for an unexpected reason you decide not to hand the computer or equipment to be repaired and/or call off the repair or contract (for businesses) at any time, a call fee will be billed to you to pay for travel time/expenses, and it is non-refundable. Other conditions might apply depending on the contract we set (for businesses).
If for any reasons you interrupt the job or rush it, or call it off after the repair/diagnostic process has been initiated, you will be charged for the time spent beside the call fee above and any fees/costs as indicated in a contract if any (for businesses), as you did not let the repair and/or job to be completed and our warranty will not be applied; We reserve the right at any time to decline our services to you/your company and terminate a business relationship at our discretion and/or if you breach our terms, conditions and/or our contract without any prior notice. FOR COMPUTER REPAIR: Our computer repair comes with a warranty on the labor (terms/timeframe of this warranty will be specified to you beforehand), and additional/further repairs will be performed to solve the issue if necessary within the terms of our warranty. Only in the exceptional case scenario where the motherboard and/or a related motherboard issue is discovered to be defective, you will be charged for the time spent diagnosing and troubleshooting your computer (max up to 3 hours) unless the motherboard was rendered useless and/or damaged by you and/or a third party tech in which case scenario you will be charged for the time spent fixing your computer with no limitations and the call fee above. You have a 48 hours warranty on the repair, during that time you can verify the effectiveness of the repair. If the symptom/issue should re-manifest itself within these 48 hours of warranty due to our service performance (up to now we are proud to say it has been unprecedented), you are guaranteed an extended labor warranty if additional repairs do not solve the issue (for residential clients and terms and timeframes will be specified to you beforehand); for businesses, however, you must follow the contract terms and conditions and any warranty specified within the contract and/or via email; if not specified, for businesses, the warranty is 3 business days). However, in these instances below the additional repair(s) will be billed and the labor warranty does not apply: 1. If a new issue/symptom should manifest itself during the warranty that was not reported to us and/or is independent of our repair; 2. If the same issue was repeated whether intentionally and/or accidentally. The hourly labor charges are non-refundable also if 3. You, the customer, guarantee, and state you are the owner of the computer(s), equipment to be repaired, and/or website(s) to be designed/setup whichever applies to your case; if you are not the owner, you state, guarantee and promise under the laws of the United States that you are acting on their behalf with their granted permission and you take full responsibility for the payment and the repair and/or any other job performed by the owner, Long Island PC Techs INC, LIPCTECH.COM. You also state you are 18 years old or over, if you are under 18 years old, you must inform us and you must have your guardians or parents, read, accept and sign these terms and this agreement instead on your behalf and take responsibility for the payment.
I, the customer, have read, I understand, and accept the disclosure, waivers, terms, and policy above by LIPCtech.com and its owner and Long Island PC Techs INC, I, the customer, give permission to LIPCtech.com and Long Island PC Techs INC to diagnose and repair my computer, install, configure, set up any kind of equipment, offer IT support services and network services, offer website design and any other services not mentioned here, I, the customer, acknowledge that I am responsible for all costs of parts and labor for services performed by LIPCTech.com. I (the customer) also acknowledge that if I leave my property (my computer and/or any parts that come with it including software) at LIPCtech.com, to the owner, to Long Island PC Techs INC for longer than 15 days from the date printed on this form and from the date of the hiring, after notification by him of the completion of the repair or completion of the service, after being notified by him (LIPCTech.com) by phone or email that he intends to return my computer and its parts to my residence and/or to an appointed destination, and fail to contact him back, said property may be sold to cover and recoup the labor/parts repair costs and/or said property might be donated or will become the property of LIPCtech.com, Long Island PC Techs INC and its owner. If you accept to make a video review of our services, you will get compensated for your time only. Failure to communicate with us can cause sudden termination of your website and no refunds are made. Any deposits are non-refundable as we put in a tremendous amount of work in setting up your website and we don’t take any other project besides yours, you will be our only priority! We work with you very closely to satisfy you 100% and we build the website based on your taste/preferences and also based on good marketing rules. The goal is to capture your visitors/customers and impress them and create an identity and a brand! This involves that we apply certain psychological elements while creating the layout and colors of your website. You as a client need to respect any deadlines we agree upon for example if you fail to offer feedback or make modification requests during any timeline that was set into an agreement, after the website has been completed, any requests that will follow that period, will not be accepted unless you purchase additional modifications and changes and if necessary.
Long Island PC Techs, INC. cannot guarantee the security of your website 100%. Ultimately your hosting company and WordPress will be responsible for any HIPAA compliance or security issues. If you cannot make it to the final appointment/deadline, you can reschedule the next day. However, the remaining balance needs to be remitted on the deadline as seen on any agreement set and can be remitted online via credit card or Paypal upon receiving from us an email with a payment link (no checks, no cash, only credit/debit cards or Paypal).
We reserve the right to login into your hosting account (Godaddy for example) and make any changes necessary to implement and build your website and for any modifications needed.
